The Transplants, The Black Belt, The Resilience.

Aaron “Ajacks” Jackson’s story begins with resilience shaped from the very start. Diagnosed with biliary atresia at birth, he grew up learning how to navigate uncertainty long before he had the language to describe it. Despite early health challenges, he pursued academics and sports with determination, refusing to let limitations define his path. Experiences with bullying and self-doubt—often tied to the visible effects of his condition—became fuel for growth, shaping a mindset rooted in perseverance and self-acceptance. After a childhood and young adulthood that felt largely normal, Aaron graduated from Florida A&M University with a degree in Economics and stepped confidently into his professional career. In 2017, however, life began to shift in ways he could not have anticipated.

Aaron reached a defining turning point when he required a long-awaited transplant that ultimately became both a liver and kidney transplant. From November 2019 to March 2020, he faced a season of life that reshaped everything he believed about resilience and recovery. He temporarily lost his eyesight and memory and had to learn how to walk again, confronting challenges that transformed his perspective and deepened his compassion for others facing life-altering adversity. Receiving a new liver and kidney was more than a medical milestone—it was a second chance that strengthened his gratitude, sharpened his purpose, and reinforced his commitment to helping others rebuild their lives. Today, Aaron is a passionate advocate for organ donation, using his story to educate, inspire, and highlight the profound impact of compassion and the gift of life.

He continues to use his platform to raise awareness, offer hope, and support those navigating liver disease, biliary atresia, and organ transplantation. Aaron’s journey stands as a reminder that adversity can become a catalyst for strength when paired with the right mindset, community, and determination. His commitment to making a positive impact remains constant, and he approaches each day with purpose, empathy, and an enduring belief in the power of the human spirit.

Why he built the AKDS Operating System.

Before creating a journal or building a brand, Aaron was driven by faith and a deep calling to help others build strength, clarity, and hope during life’s most uncertain seasons. What began as a personal mission to help at least one person each day grew into the AKDS: Motivation & Reflection Journal, and eventually into the broader AKDS operating system. What started as encouragement became a structured framework designed to help people rebuild momentum, rediscover purpose, and move forward with intention. “Always Keep Doin’ Sh*t” became more than a slogan—it became a philosophy rooted in action, reflection, and consistent growth. The phrase also carries a deeper meaning: Don’t Over Investigate Negativity, Serve Heal Innovate Transform. It represents the decision to acknowledge hardship without becoming defined by it. Service reconnects us to purpose, healing begins with willingness, innovation invites new approaches, and transformation requires becoming someone new.

Aaron’s commitment to making the world better through proximity, communication, kindness, and love ultimately led to the creation of the AKDS Resilience Protocol™, the M.E.D.S. framework, and the 5 Principles—tools designed to turn adversity into systems for sustainable growth. His willingness to connect with people facing hardship, especially those navigating major health challenges, continues to shape the mission behind AKDS. Aaron’s journey reflects the belief that adversity can become a catalyst for clarity, joy can exist alongside struggle, and consistent encouragement can change lives. Today, his work invites others to face challenges with courage, pursue growth with intention, and continue moving forward—always keeping momentum, always building resilience, and always choosing to Always Keep Doin’ Sh*t.
